Grey Squirrel (Sciurus Carolinensis)
Identification
This pest is cute looking normaly grey to grey red with a bushy
tail and a white underbelly
Teeth
Squirrels have to keep gnawing as theere teeth dont
stop growing, Thew will chew anything from power cables to the wood
in your loft which means this can cause alot of
damage.
Were There Found
This squireel came over to the UK from North America in about
1876 in henbury park for sports this is a very common pest all over
the UK now

Behaviour
Grey squirrels are very active through the day time and very
easy to see and hear. They are always feeding or playing a good
sign is to look for pinecones that have been stripped down to the
core and half eaten seeds/nuts, Droppings are hard to identifiy as
the can be the same as a rats
Food
This pest will eat a wide range of items berries, fruit buds,
shoots, fungi seeds, bird eggs, insects, nuts, They mainly feed on
bird tables
